Alpha Prime Racing (APR), in partnership with the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) and Team Racing-2-Education (R2E), has launched the Alpha Prime Racing Workforce Development Initiative, a national program designed to create pathways into motorsports through education, mentorship, hands-on experience, and career exposure.
The initiative will connect students and young adults with opportunities across engineering, mechanics, logistics, marketing, content creation, business operations, and other career paths throughout the motorsports industry. Launching during the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season, the program will activate across ten race markets nationwide, providing participants with direct exposure to professional motorsports both at race weekends and behind the scenes.
A key component of the initiative is Alpha Prime Racing driver Lavar Scott and the No. 45 Urban Affairs Coalition Chevrolet, which will serve as a platform for expanding access and introducing young people to career opportunities both inside and outside of racing.
By combining Alpha Prime Racing’s national motorsports platform with UAC’s longstanding leadership in workforce development and community engagement, the initiative aims to help participants build connections, gain real-world experience, and explore careers they may not have otherwise considered.
