Thembi Maiden

Thembi Maiden is the Vice President of Talent Operations at the Urban Affairs Coalition. With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Thembi leads UAC’s talent strategy and culture-building initiatives, overseeing total rewards, employee relations, recruitment, engagement, and organizational development. Since joining UAC in 2019, she has played a pivotal role in transforming internal systems and advancing a more inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.

Prior to UAC, Thembi served as HR Generalist at Tasty Baking Company (Tastykake). She is a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and holds a Master of Science in Human Capital Development. In 2024, she was honored as HR Person of the Year (Small Company) by the Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Awards.
