Happy Women’s History Month! At the Urban Affairs Coalition, we believe that women’s empowerment begins with sharing our personal and collective narratives. This month, we’re celebrating the diverse stories of Women of the Coalition, today we spotlight Tina D’Orazio UAC’s Board Member, and Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff for the Philadelphia Eagles. In this post, Tina briefly shares some of her experiences and how she’s been able to create positive change and contribute to women’s empowerment.
How have you been able to create positive change or contribute to women’s empowerment through your work or experiences?
“In what was once a male dominated industry, we are now seeing a growing number of women take on leadership roles in sports. So many influential women have paved the way because of their intelligence, natural instincts, and courage to take risks. We are proud of our diverse workforce here at the Philadelphia Eagles because it reflects the community we serve. It is a testament to the progressive leadership of Jeffrey Lurie, Don Smolenski, and Howie Roseman who boldly guide the organization and empower our female employees.”
