Program Summary
“Ready, Willing & Able Philadelphia (RWAP), a partner of the Urban Affairs Coalition, addresses substance use disorder by providing dormitory-style transitional housing for up to 50 men, alongside vital support services including case management, connection to external recovery supports, paid work opportunities, job readiness, and lifelong graduate support. Guided by the principles of Recovery, Dignity, Sustainability, and Visibility, we work at the intersection of two of Philadelphia’s most pressing issues. We help people living with substance use disorder stay off the streets and in recovery. We remove litter from neighborhood business corridors to help small businesses and residents prosper.”
Position Summary
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that crew capacity is complete before leaving facility to work site.
- Ensure all RWA uniform attire passes appropriate inspection standards. CIP Supervisors and crew members must be ready for the weather conditions with proper raingear.
- If the crew is short, make appropriate adjustments to ensure that all routes are covered. The Dispatch station should be notified of such adjustments.
- Ensure crew arrives and departs to and from their work sites on time.
