Philadelphia, PA – For 50 years The Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) has supported nonprofit innovation through its fiscal sponsorship platform. Over that time hundreds of nonprofit organization started at UAC, but for the first time, with support JP Morgan Chase, UAC will be launching its first Seed Stage Cohort.
Seed Stage is UAC’s innovation-award winning nonprofit startup program that has helped launch over 20 nonprofits over the last three years, but this fall, for the first time, UAC will be asking people to apply to the Seed Stage Accelerator.
Nonprofit Startups accepted into the inaugural program will have their all of their first year fees waived, thanks to the sponsorship of JP Morgan Chase, saving them thousands of dollars in startup costs and indirect expenses, valued at up to $12,000 in in-kind services designed to help launch their nonprofit.
Selected teams will also go through a bootcamp and get dedicated 1-on-1 coaching to help them become as impactful as possible.
UAC will select up to three nonprofit startups for the initial cohort, teams must be at the idea or very early-stage of their organization, not have a 501c3, and ready to commit at least 10 hours a week to their idea.
Applications are available here: http://uac.org/seedstage, and the deadline to apply is December 31st. The Winners will be announced in January 2020.
