We promote community safety through services that reduce drug abuse and violence, as well as to help at-risk youth develop positive alternatives that will return them to the mainstream of society. Since its inception in 1989, PAAN has utilized its expertise to meet these objectives through street-based community outreach and intervention programs.

We work to provide a parent voice for Philadelphia public schools calling for academic achievement, accountability, and putting kids first in school budgets.
We work to reduce drug use/abuse, teen pregnancy, chronic illness, the spread of HIV infection and senseless violence in the community. Programs and activities are designed to educate and equip people with the skills needed to make positive choices in life.
