Program Summary
The Achieving Reunification Center (ARC), a non-profit entity, has served parent/caregivers with children placed in an out of home placement through Department of Human Services since 2005. The vision of the Achieving Reunification Center (ARC) is that all families with children in out-of-home placement have access to resources and supports to achieve timely family reunification.
Position Summary
The Community Engagement Supervisor is responsible for planning and coordinating outreach visits and events to promote ARC services as well as supervising a team of Community Engagement Specialists (CES). As a supervisor to the CES Team, the Community Engagement Supervisor will oversee their engagement with the public and with new ARC referrals. This includes ensuring and managing the timely outreach of referral from CUA and approving and submitting closings. The Community Engagement Supervisor will ensure that CESs are delivering the correct message about ARC and that all parents are engaged according to the ARC engagement process. The Community Engagement Supervisor will develop relationships with various community agencies and partner organizations and coordinating all aspects of partner presentations and events. This includes scheduling, speakers/topics, materials and advertising. Additionally, the responsibilities will include facilitating weekly orientation for newly enrolled parents as well as facilitating opportunities for parents whose cases have been closed due to goal completion.
