The Urban Affairs Coalition’s “Philadelphia’s Premier Networking Event” is back, and better than ever! On Friday, November 18, 2022, UAC will celebrate its 53rd Anniversary at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Connect with over 900 guests, all decision makers in business, government and grassroots communities, and show your support for UAC’s 53 year legacy.

Lighting the Path for Dreamers & Doers to Change the World!

The Coalition’s services are supporting invaluable work that spans all of Philadelphia’s neighborhoods and advances opportunity and impact across youth development, education, community and economic development, violence prevention, health & wellness, housing, and addiction services.

$22 million in Philadelphia communities to prevent gun violence and promote trauma-informed healing, safe havens, and mentorship, in partnership with Mayor Kenney and City Council’s Anti-Violence Community Partnership Grants.

Partnered with PIDC, the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and 30+ financial institutions to establish the $100 million Growth, Resiliency, Independence, Tenacity (GRIT) Fund to strengthen the operations of small, Black- and Brown-owned businesses.

Assured that 40,000 Philadelphia households remained in their homes, by working with the City of Philadelphia to distribute its critical COVID relief funds through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.

$4 billion in planned construction activity and $1 billion in DEI spend to grow the employment pipelines for Philadelphia minorities and women in the building trades.

Launched program development and fit-out for the PNC North Broad Community Connection Center which will offer UAC’s array of financial education, first-time homebuyer, small-business, and nonprofit capacity building services towards equitable wealth-building in low-income, high-poverty communities.

Established the Ending Racism Partnership, a platform for dialogue and accountability for achieving racial equity in employment and workforce, health, criminal justice and police accountability, education, and arts and culture.
