COVID-19 RESOURCES

As a Home for Nonprofits, the Urban Affairs Coalition has worked to improve the quality of life in our region for more than 50 years. Our work is important now more than ever. UAC is deemed as an essential business in the City of Philadelphia, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and in the communities we serve. We will continue to operate during this time, as we deliver and support essential services to our most vulnerable communities affected by the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

As part of our of our ongoing effort to keep our Partners, Employees, and Communities updated on the response to COVID-19, UAC has put together this page to share resources to help our friends, family, and neighbors in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

We will update this page on an ongoing basis, as new resources become available.

COVID-19 Test Interactive Map: Find FREE Testing Sites Near You

COVID-19 Testing is still a major necessity in identifying one’s status. Click here to find a free COVID-19 test near you. This tool can help you find a free COVID-19 test in Philadelphia. You can search for a testing site by address, click on a map location for specific site information, filter the site list by the tags provided. Each site has different requirements. No testing sites require payment, insurance, or proof of citizenship. But, some sites may limit testing to people who meet certain criteria, require an appointment, require a referral from your doctor, ask you to stay in your car (for drive-thru sites).

Mental Health Resources

The health and well-being of the UAC community remains our top priority. Listed below are a few resources with you that could help navigate these uncertain times:

  • Due Quach, Founder of Collective Success Network, a UAC program, has compiled an Inclusive Mental Health Resources to help people find culturally competent support and care during these times. While the last few months have been challenging for everyone, they have been particularly difficult and exhausting for BIPOC and LGBTQIA folks who have suffered from bigotry, injustice, oppression and inequity. Learn more here.
  • Join UAC program partner, Inner Strength Foundation, Monday-Friday at 8AM for 30 minute meditation session. Each session begins with very brief contemplation instructions, followed by 30 min of silence, closing with a short dedication. You are welcome to join via video or phone. Register here.
