About SYE

The Urban Affairs Coalition Summer Youth Employment Program provides paid summer job opportunities to youth ages 14-18 through the WorkReady program. The six week program runs from July-August and includes career exposure, on-the-job mentoring and professional development.

Response to COVID-19

In consideration of you and our employees' health, the UAC's Summer Youth Employment Office will continue to work remotely until further notice in response to government initiatives designed to limit the spread of COVID-19. Any previous enrollment appointments will be rescheduled.

While our WorkReady staff is working remotely, we are available to assist in completing worksite agreements and supporting youth in completing their online applications and prepare for enrollment session. You are encouraged and welcome to contact us via email at or leave a message at 215-851-1800 and a SYE team member will return your call within 24-48 hrs.
