About SYE

The Urban Affairs Coalition Summer Youth Employment Program provides paid summer job opportunities to youth ages 14-18 through the WorkReady program. The six week program runs from July-August and includes career exposure, on-the-job mentoring and professional development.

Response to COVID-19

In consideration of you and our employees' health, the UAC's Summer Youth Employment Office will continue to work remotely until further notice in response to government initiatives designed to limit the spread of COVID-19.

While our WorkReady staff is working remotely, we are available to assist in completing worksite agreements and supporting youth in completing their online applications and prepare for enrollment session.
