NCBA Senior Community Service Employment Program

The National Black Caucus and Center on Black Aging under its Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is looking for seniors interested in re-entering the workforce. The program provides job training and placement services to qualified seniors. To be eligible, applicants must be over 55 years old, unemployed and have a family income that does not exceed 125% of the federal poverty income guidelines. Once accepted, participants will be offered up to 20 hours per week of training in group session or on the job site. Job placement services will be accessed through American Job Centers.
