Position Summary: 
The goal of the Project Manager, Partnership Services and Engagement will be to drive partner success on programmatic and financial health outcomes. The position will focus on enhanced support, engagement and liaison services by providing effective customer service, organizational planning and technical assistance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
Program Services:
  • Liaison with the program and corporate partners, funders, constituents and UAC internal departments
  • Evaluate and assess prospective and new partners’ administrative and operational systems and provide technical assistance to partners to help them improve their administrative and operational capacities.  The technical assistance can be part of a longer-term comprehensive improvement plan or in response to immediate needs
  • Support and facilitate partners’ relationships with their funders.  This can include mandated or desired program changes and implementation of new funder requirements.
  • Develop a communication plan to make contact with partner via meeting or phone on a regular basis
  • Keep organization focused on its programmatic outcomes and financial health through client success planning (development, implementation, execution, monitor & evaluation)
  • Facilitate communication between UAC, program and corporate partners, funders, and advisory/governing boards
  • Identify and address program and leadership challenges; develop an organization and/or strategic plan as deemed necessary
  • Troubleshoot program-related questions and issues
  • Track funder-mandated and internal program deadlines and tasks, and recommend corrective action when necessary
  • Work closely with V.P. of Partnership Services and Engagement  to plan a schedule of leadership meetings and ensure successful delivery of the planned meetings
  • Manage, coordinate and support program partnership Advisory Board establishment and ongoing meetings. Including visitation of program partner site quarterly.
  •  Create reports and focus on program quality and improvements
  • Support partners by attending  program’s events
  • Participate in annual planning and analysis of program success/challenges to improve program quality
  • Coordinate and schedule program leaders monthly fiscal/business services meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
Business Operations:
  • Work with key internal staff to document the organization current policies, processes, and procedures
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve policies, processes, and procedures. Take the lead in examining how the organization can better use existing resources and how best to transition to new resources and/or technology platforms to improve client success, increase capabilities, and improved financial health
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters preferred in Non-Profit Management or Public Administration
  • Experience with program development and organizational development preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector required; at least two (2) years of experience with nonprofits working in program operations and/or program administrative. 
  • Proficient in various computer programs- Microsoft Office software, including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
