Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
 

Program Evaluation and Research

• Enter all program evaluation data from the student organizing and meeting programs into SPSS.

• Secure all evaluation and research data ensuring confidentiality of all respondents.

Conference and Meeting Support

• Work with the conference promotion team(s) to design conference promotion materials, tactics, and schedules.

• Ensure the timely development of pre- and post-meeting evaluations and distribute to all meeting attendees.

• Prepare web content for the promotion of conferences and distribution of board meeting materials.

• Work with meeting attendees to arrange travel where appropriate.

• Communicate with meeting faculty, assist with logistical arrangements, and obtain all necessary information for conference materials.

• Provide logistical support of meeting details at the meetings as part of the meeting team.

• Enter all registration data into conference and meeting registration spreadsheets.

• Maintain up-to-date contact information on all faculty in the speakers’ database.

• Prepare materials for all meetings.

• Plan the shipping of all materials for all conferences and meetings.

• Help the Manager coordinate and manage the onsite logistical aspects of the conference (eg: F&B, onsite faculty support, signage, AV troubleshooting, and security) and act as primary contact in the registration room for MSFC’s largest conference.

• Support post-event activities including creating and mailing thank you letters to faculty.

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
 

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access. Email and internet usage is required.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in SPSS a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.

• Ability to establish priorities, follow-though on tasks, and meet deadlines effectively and efficiently.

• Commitment to the pro-choice mission of MSFC is essential.
