Position Summary: 
The goal of the Program Services Associate will be to drive client success on programmatic and financial health outcomes. The position will focus on customer service, and organizational process/policy documentation and improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
Program Services: Liaison with the program partners, funders, constituents and UAC internal departments
  • Keep organization focused on its programmatic outcomes and financial health through client success planning (development, implementation, execution, monitor & evaluation)
  • Facilitate communication between UAC and program partners, funders, and advisory/governing boards
  • Identify and address program and leadership challenges
  • Troubleshoot program-related questions and issues
  • Track funder-mandated and internal program deadlines and tasks, and recommend corrective action when necessary
  • Work closely with Director, Program Services and program partners to plan a schedule of leadership meetings and ensure successful delivery of the planned meetings
  • Create reports and focus on program quality and improvements
  • Attend Program Partner events
  • Participate in annual planning and analysis of program success/challenges to improve program quality
  • Coordinate and schedule program leaders monthly fiscal/business services meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
 Business Operations: Work with key internal staff to document the organization current policies, processes, and procedures
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve policies, processes, and procedures. Take the lead in examining how the organization can better use existing resources and how best to transition to new resources and/or technology platforms to improve client success, increase capabilities, and improved financial health
  • Assist with financial management including:
    • Entering invoices and purchase requests in accounting system
    • Tracking of invoices and purchases to ensure timely processing
    • Budgeting and tracking expenses vs actuals
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Strong inquiry and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be able to multi-task while remaining organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be comfortable working with people of all ages
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills; customer-service oriented
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Must be a self-starter with good time management skills
  • Works well independently and in a team setting
