Position Summary: 
The Photo License Technician Floater/Job Coach is responsible for supporting the mission of SpArc Services by providing education and training for participants of the UniqueSource Photo ID Program by improving the lives of people with disabilities. They will recommend and implement the use of assistive technology. This position also evaluates potential program participants. They will work with the UniqueSource District Manager and the SpArc Services Member Agency Representatives to ensure the License Centers are staffed with qualified photo license technicians. They will forge strong relationships with SpArc Services’ Employment Services team and other area service providers to find appropriate job applicants. All essential job responsibilities will be executed in accordance with SpArc Services’ Administrative policies and compliance/ethics guidelines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

Position Responsibilities

1. Recruit, place and provide job coaching services to persons with disabilities in the Photo License Centers under the UniqueSource contract with SpArc Services.

2. Work well as a team player, and develop good working relationships with UniqueSource and SpArc Services staff.

3. Use appropriate judgment to make reasonable and supportive accommodations for individuals with severe physical disabilities.

4. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of assistive technology as it applies to the specific job duties of a photo license technician/facilitator.

5. Establish an ongoing support system (i.e. co-workers, transportation, and assistive technology) that the photo license technician/facilitator can rely on in order to work independently.

6. Demonstrates the ability to take appropriate action based on circumstances, and provides important and comprehensive information to SpArc Services Director and UniqueSource District Manger.

7. Work with the SpArc Services Member Representatives and the Director, UniqueSource Program to make recommendations for hiring, performance management, monitoring time and attendance, training, and motivating employees.

8. Performs all duties in a safe manner and ensures that photo license technicians adhere to all safety guidelines.

9. Float (fill-in) as Photo License Technician/Facilitator when necessary to prevent downtime.

10. Facilitate the training of the Photo License Center staff by ensuring that all employees complete "On the Job Training" during the first 90 days of employment.

11. Supervise the individual according to the training plan and consistent practices used by UniqueSource.

12. Attend required UniqueSource license technician trainings/seminars, as well as external and internal meetings as needed.

13. Provide enrichment and job coaching support to photo license technicians/facilitators who are already employed but may be having challenges in their current position.

14. Produce and complete reports as required in a timely manner.


Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 


1. High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year experience or training certification in working with people with disabilities

2. Must be willing to travel to different locations in Philadelphia, as well as surrounding areas.

3. Must be flexible to the needs of the service center locations.

4. Must demonstrate effective communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds; able to present in small and large groups.

5. Demonstrates the organization's core competencies and solid customer service skills.

6. Moderate word processing skills in MS Word for Windows applications.

7. Ability to coordinate and direct the work of others.

8. Ability to translate regulations into practice. Knows the importance of effective record keeping.

9. Ability to form and maintain effective partnerships with all stakeholders.

10. Effectively problem solve with the ability to proactively address issues preventing escalation.

11. Develops a caliber staff capable of providing high quality services, accountable to job responsibilities and motivated.

12. Requires self-direction, independence, good time management, organization skills, attention to detail including prioritization.

13. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure and flexibility respond to changing priorities, unplanned events or emergencies.

14. Strong assessment skills and ability to translate assessment results into service plan.
