PHMC is a nonprofit public health institute, with a gross budget of $250M, that builds healthier communities through partnerships with government, foundations, businesses and community-based organizations. Headquarters are located in Center City Philadelphia, PA.
Position Summary: 
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Managing Director of Finance will be a part of the senior level management team and have responsibility for planning, coordinating and directing the day to day financial operations for PHMC and its related subsidiaries.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
This includes controlling receipt of revenue, recommending and designing new or modified accounting systems for financial reporting, establishing a formal budgeting process, managing the annual audit process, and ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are followed.
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of accounting and financial management experience in the healthcare field or nonprofit sector, including at least 5 years of leadership level experience managing a large financial team. Experience writing proposals and securing funding is also desired. MBA and/or CPA is required.
