Position Summary: 
Client needs include but are not limited to festivals, seminars, corporate events, community events, social media management, and nonprofit fundraisers. The ideal candidate should be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration on client projects. Option to work remotely two days a week. Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

Job Functions

● Attend client meetings and manage completion of deliverables to ensure company is exceeding

   client expectations

● Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, identify their needs, and ensure customer


● Able to conduct market research and gather information on industry trends to inform direction of

   client projects.

● Provide clear, well-written periodic reports to stakeholders and clients.

● Able to articulately propose ideas to improve services and event quality.

● Management and organizational skills needed to oversee facilities and manage all event details

such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests,

equipment, promotional material, etc.

● Work effectively with PR, graphic design and other subcontractors.

● Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems on the event


● Follow-through to conduct pre-and post-event evaluations, reporting on the outcomes.

● Research skills to identify event opportunities, understand the market, and generate interest.

● Ability to see the “big picture” and meet objectives in all stages of event planning, marketing,

design, and production.

● Other duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field

● Three or more years of event and marketing experience

● Available to work nights and weekends

● Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

● Knowledge about state and local government

● Working knowledge of Google Drive functions including sharing, Docs, Sheets, and Forms

● Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and manage results

● Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing and executing projects and delivering them

   within specified timeframes

● An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

● Strong verbal and written communication skills

● Experience with MailChimp, Canva and a project management software
