Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
Tasks:
1. National Partnerships
    • Identify a cross-section of prospective, national, constituency-based partners:
      Veterans, Native American, African American, Faith-based, Latino American, etc.
      The goal is to reflect the varying viewpoints of America’s diverse constituency,
      creating a platform for many voices to share.
   • Recommend and organize leaders, including those recruited from among those
      partner prospects, to join a USA250 National Advisory Committee
2. Mega-Event Research
    • Identify and research questions and compile best practices from large-scale events
      comparable to USA250 (i.e. 1964 World’s Fair in New York, 1996 Summer Olympic
      Games in Atlanta)
    • Interview living leaders from comparative events to inform best practices.
3. Tourism Research
    • Support the development of a tourism research plan to support USA250
    • Work on participation by Philly-based tourism organizations (Visit Philadelphia,
       PHLCVB, PA-DCED) with existing expertise
    • Research third-party vendors to prepare independent tourism analysis of trends for
      2026 tourism in order to assess the range of potential visitors to USA250;
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
Must have excellent written and oral skills; in-depth experience with Microsoft Office including powerpoint and excel; familiarity with Constant Contact, etc. An interest in history is an asset and an commitment to the promotion of inter-cultural understanding is a must.
