Position Summary: 
Basic Purpose of Position: Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer this position serves as a project coordinator and interface on significant Authority-wide projects and initiatives, including various capital projects. This position serves as a direct interface between the Chief Executive Officer and the Corporate Secretary’s Office, Executive staff, Senior staff, as well as the Board of Commissioners. This position, in concert with other departments, is also responsible for responding to public and internal information requests, working on the Authority’s records retention initiative, assisting with the planning and implementation of special events.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
Major Responsibilities and Duties DESCRIPTION OF TASK 1. As project coordinator, coordinates and participates in meetings, ensures information flow and follow up for capital projects, initiatives, and public outreach. This position works closely with appropriate Authority divisions and departments to assist in the development of presentation materials for CEO appearances before professional, transportation, business, community, and other public, private, and governmental audiences In concert with the CEO, and appropriate Executive Staff, and consultants, this position assists with coordinating the strategy, timing, content and planning for community outreach in support of capital project and initiatives. 2. For capital projects and initiatives, this position works closely with the Engineering and Finance, and other Divisions to coordinate regular internal and external project meetings; edits material for CEO and project team review; expedites project approvals; and prepares meeting agendas and supporting materials, and meeting minutes. 3. Draft summary statements and resolutions. Prepared monthly CEO Report to the Board utilizing information from various departments and divisions. 4. Working with Customer Service and Community Relations and Corporate Communications Departments, as well as other Authority Departments, this position helps develop community events and partnerships. The position serves as an interface between the various departments and the CEO. 5. On behalf of the CEO, this position drafts replies to the public on broad ranging issues, responds to general inquiries made by other departments and the public, applying significant knowledge of organizational rules, regulations, and procedures 6. Supports building the Authority’s image by collaborating with employees, customers, government, and community organizations. Provide leadership as head of the Employee Engagement Committee. Plan and coordinate Authority-wide activities and events of the Employee Engagement Committee. Is the point of outreach for all employees. Implement and follows up actions resulting from the employee engagement study. Work closely with Strategic Initiatives in the development and support of new initiatives to enhance the Authority’s image with employees, customers, government, and community organizations. 7. Prepares operating and expense budgets for the Executive Office. 8. Assists the CEO in organizing and overseeing the administrative functions of his/her office, and coordinates work of clerical employees, as assigned 9. Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
