Position Summary: 
The Content Coordinator will: • Support communications team in the production of timely, accurate press materials • Perform daily pressroom maintenance to ensure that pressroom shows off timely, accurate Philadelphia stories • Provide administrative support to content team as needed
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 
The primary responsibilities for this position are as follows: Content Functions • Fact check and proofread press releases, brochures, corp. communications pieces, ad copy, etc. • Write monthly calendar of events and all company photo captions • Ensure that press releases are always up to date by making additions, deletions and revisions daily • Do press release research for roundups, annual events, holiday happenings and city-wide initiatives • Compile and upload content for all electronic press kits • Compile and distribute notes from bi-weekly integrated content meetings • Manage daily updates to LinkedIn and Twitter PR accounts and provide monthly reports on account activity Pressroom Functions • Assist content team on pressroom revamp • Upload all press releases to the pressroom • Make updates to the pressroom as needed • Keep homepage current by updating billboard and press kits • Monitor visitation to online pressroom and identify best practices via Google Analytics • Work with web department to make pressroom enhancements • Oversee technology upgrades made to pressroom Administrative Functions • Complete all PAFs for content team • Schedule meetings as needed
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
Qualifications • One to two years of writing, editing and proofreading experience • Must be highly organized and able to manage projects • Experience using Google Analytics (preferred) • Experience using an online content management system, such as WordPress (preferred) • Passion for Philadelphia and the five-county region Educational Requirements • BA or BS
