Program Summary: 
Essential Functions Champion the trauma-informed, culturally competent service delivery model Develop meaningful relationships with employers in the region to support employer utilization of the local workforce system Develop “Sister Circle” or other mentoring programs Establish and cultivate new economic development partnerships that lead to projects yielding multiple on-the-job placement opportunities for job seekers Ensure that job training activities meet the needs of employers and support economic growth in the region Create communication, coordination and collaboration among employers, economic development entities and service providers Develop and implement proven or promising strategies for meeting the employment and skill needs of workers and employers Identify, convene and support targeted sectors to map talent pipelines and identify strategies to tie their talent needs to career pathways and the workforce system Expand employment and career advancement opportunities for workforce system participants in in-demand industry sectors or occupations Develop relationships with the appropriate trade associations, local community organizations, the Chamber of Commerce, the Office of Workforce Development, and local educational institutions Develop a profile of the TEP talent pool to help business appreciate the potential for recruiting Assess the satisfaction of businesses with the TEP candidates and make recommendations for continuous improvement Develop on the job (OTJ) opportunities Maintain specific competencies and serve as the expert in targeted industry cluster, tailoring service delivery systems to each employer’s needs Conduct in depth needs analysis to identify training needs and design plans to address employer concerns Respond in a timely manner to all employer requests Maintain thorough documentation of all employer contacts, written business proposals, and contracts, maintain and update all employer databases including CWDS and remain abreast of local and regional labor market trends and research Work in collaboration with TEP staff and the provider’s designated staff in the coordination, scheduling, implementation, monitoring and reporting of job fairs and/ or employment information for job seekers Perform other job-related duties as assignedEssential Functions

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, human resources. Social services or a related field with at least 2 years’ experience or any combination of education and experience deemed comparable Knowledge of CWDS, Client Track or similar data tracking systems and comfortable working with data Excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft word and Excel; working knowledge of Access and Power Point preferred Must be organized and detailed oriented Must have notable experience in a team-oriented environment Must be passionate about working to advance the equity of othersEducation and Experience Requirements
