PFCU’s Financial Educator Named “Top Educator”

Philadelphia, PA, August 5, 2011 – Philadelphia Federal Credit Union’s Accredited Financial Educator, Karl Bernhard, was recently named one of the “Top Educators” involved in the financial workshop program offered by the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC).

During the past year, Bernhard presented an array of financial education seminars to organizations affiliated with UAC, covering topics such as budgeting, building credit, money management and banking procedures. Transitional Work Corporation, Horizon House, Grace Teenshop and Orleans Technical Institute are among the various organizations that participated in these informative seminars, promoting financial independence.

As a not-for-profit organization, PFCU prides itself on its dedication to the community and promotes financial literacy to improve individual economic well-being.
