Rebuilding Community Infrastructure (Rebuild) is a seven-year, $500 million investment in Philadelphia's parks, recreation centers, playgrounds and libraries.  Proposed in Mayor Jim Kenney's first budget as a part of his vision for a more equitable Philadelphia, Rebuild will improve pivotal community spaces, empower and engage communities, and promote economic opportunity through diversity and inclusion.
Rebuilding hundreds of parks, rec centers and libraries means that there will be a lot of opportunities for small, local businesses in the design and construction industries.  Rebuild will host the first of five information sessions on July 27th for small, local contractors interested in working on Rebuild.  City staff will be on site to discuss the rebuilding process and to provide information on supports available to help small businesses grow.
No RSVP required. Follow #RebuildPHL or sign up for Rebuild vendor emails here for notification of future information sessions!
