NCNW sponsors social, educational, economic, cultural, health and self-help projects, both nationally and internationally.  In keeping with NCNW’s commitment to helping families in Philadelphia  communities, our Philadelphia Section hosts Family Day, as a community outreach/community service  project.  The purpose for this community service event is to educate and inform Philadelphia residents about the resources that are available to assist in improving the quality of their lives in the areas of health and nutrition, education, careers, family services, economics, civil liberties, safety and other critical and important areas. 

Family Day will occur on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Malcolm X Park located at the corner of 52nd and Pine Streets, Philadelphia, PA.  The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tables and chairs will be provided, you only have to bring a table cover.  Set up time is 9:00 a.m.

If you are interested in participating by sharing information about your agency and their services, please complete the attached form asap.  If you know of other agencies that should be invited, please feel free to invite them.  As always your participation plays a very integral and essential role in the program.

Family Day event will be a day filled with important and relevant resource information for the community,  DJ and magician, clown with balloon art and face painting, zumba dancing, free mildly used clothing, free hot dogs many prizes as well as other fun events.
