Rebuild Info Session

Come to this free information session from 4:30pm- 6:00pm for small, local contractors to learn more about working on Rebuild projects and about supports available to small businesses.


Rebuilding Community Infrastructure (Rebuild) is a seven-year, $500 million investment in Philadelphia's parks, recreation centers, playgrounds and libraries.  Proposed in Mayor Jim Kenney's first budget as a part of his vision for a more equitable Philadelphia, Rebuild will improve pivotal community spaces, empower and engage communities, and promote economic opportunity through diversity and inclusion.

On Tuesday evening, July 18, 2017 from 6:00pm - 8:30pm, AIM-IRS Philadelphia will be helping to reduce hunger by volunteering at Philabundance.

 Have you ever wanted to give back to the community but did not think that you had the wherewithall to do so? If you want to help those in need, we have the venue for you to do so and give back to the community. This is an event that is truly inspiring and fulfilling, but we need you to complete this community action.

 

Ask-a-Nurse

Join Parkway Central Library's Ask-a-Nurse event on July 18th at 10:00am to 3:00pm on 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19103.

Every Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., an on-site nurse will be available at a table in the lobby to check blood pressures, measure blood sugar, and answer any health questions you might have for free! This month, small presentations on how to stay healthy for the new year will be displayed as well.
