Congratulations to UAC Program Partner Teenshop Inc. for celebrating 30 years of phenomenal community service mentoring and developing adolescent girls into leaders.

On Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10am in Room 400 of City Hall, Teenshop Inc. will be honored with a resolution celebrating their 30 years of community service. Teenshop Inc. is a mentoring program designed to develop adolescent girls into leaders through an innovative series of life skills workshops, community service and college tours. Since 1985, Teenshop Inc. has expanded to Los Angeles, California and currently has three chapters throughout Philadelphia. For more information about the Teenshop. Inc.

UAC Program Partner X-Offenders for Community Empowerement will hold a Mayoral and City Council Forum Night on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at the African American United Fund Building. X-Offenders invites all formerly incarcerated and convicted individuals to attend this event.
