Eden's Transportation Company Now Hiring Customer Reservationists and Drivers

Eden's Transportation, a local transportation company, is now hiring customer reservationists and drivers. Reservationists will handle calls, process transporation requests and provide service information to customers. To apply, applicants must have past call center experience, a high school diploma and a clean criminal record. Drives will operate Para transit vehicles, interact with elderly and disabled customers and perform pre and post trip inspections.

Join UAC Program Partner, One Day At A Time (ODAAT) and community activist, Charlie Mack at the Uptown Theater for a host of holiday performances to better your spirits.

On Tuesday, December 23, Urban Affairs Coalition Program Partner One Day at a Time (ODAAT) will hold their 2014 Holiday Jam/Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway beginning at 3pm outside the Uptown Theater located on Broad Street. Community activist Charlie Mack will join ODAAT in hosting this event. Children in attendance can participate in the Toy Giveaway and receive gifts from Santa and Maximus.

State Senator Shirley M. Kitchen will be offering free flu shot clinics on Tuesday, October 21st and Thursday, October 30th at her office located at 1701 West Lehigh. Residents over 65, young poeple with chronic illnesses, children between the ages of 6 months and 2 years and pregnant women are at higher than normal risk of catching influenza this season. The Center for Disease Control recommends that everyone older than 6 months should receive a yearly flu shot before the end of COtover. Partnering with Walgreens and the U.S.
